Technology and the Flu

So, Michael's 30th birthday was last Sunday. I have been planning a birthday get together with mostly family and some of Michael's close friends for a while now. It isn't surprise, but I did have some surprises ready for that night. Since this has begun, one of our friend's (that was coming) marriage has broken up, my video that I have been planning to do for that night is significantly screwed up and my son has the flu....go figure. Michael is totally bummed. Oh well, maybe this is the Lord's way of saying chill out and quit stressing yourself. Who knows!

Cruise Pictures

Our Cruise

Well, we made it back from our trip. We had a nice time. I promise I will post some pictures later. We had a good, long trip down. So many people have asked me how was it? I have come to the conclusion that I am not a cruise person. Seven days was entirely too long to be on a boat. The first 4 days were horribly bumpy. The boat rocked and rocked and I was miserable. Trey got sea sick the 2nd night and woke up gagging and trying to throw up.

The places that we went to were gorgeous. I loved going into the other countries. overall it was a great, once in a lifetime experience...that I don't want to experience again.

Here Trey is helping his daddy fix the washing machine. This was a huge endeavor. Michael doesn't fix much around the house, but he is learning!! Dave Ramsey would be soo proud!!
And not sure about the 2nd one...Just thought it was funny!

Day 2...I am Thankful for...

1. My precious friend Hollie, who is the only person who reads my blog. She is a wonderful friend and mother :)
2. being able to speak fluent English in an English speaking country.
3. The YMCA (most of the time)
4. The bible
5. Sleep

I am thankful for...

1. My Savior who carries me through dark times in my life.
2. My precious miracle Trey
3. My wonderful, christian husband
4. Educated Doctors
5. My family who loves and encourages me despite my flaws. :)
